A cracking weekend of Christmas fun and shopping is lined up for Wilmslow.

Organisers of the Wilmslow Artisan Market have a two day Christmas extravaganza planned for all the family to enjoy.

Over 250 artisan traders will be taking part over the two days, with a different mix each day, supplying festive goodies from vital Christmas ingredients to unique gifts.

A full schedule of entertainment has also been planned and lots of surprises are in store.

Entertainment will include a giant snow globe, Loose Change Buskers performing on Bank Square for Cancer Research UK and the acclaimed Tenor Alexander Wall performing on Grove Street.

No festive celebration would be complete without an appearance from Father Christmas who will be arriving on his sleigh.

For the first time the Artisan Market will extend into the evening on Saturday, 15th December, with gluwein, roasted chestnuts and a selection of Christmas treats available until 8pm.
