Plans have been submitted for a residential development of 39 homes on greenbelt land on the northern edge of Handforth.
The site was historically a single parcel of land known as Peacock Farm. The site was split by the creation of the A555 Manchester Airport Relief Road dual carriageway.
Planning permission is being sought for the erection of 31 units on the larger North site comprising of 22 3-storey townhouses and 9 affordable 3 bedroom townhouses.
The south site will contain a 4-storey block consisting of 8 affordable apartments.
