To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Wilmslow Town Council commissioned a Jubilee gate for The Carrs.
To mark this significant achievement of Her Majesty they had a bespoke gate built which incorporated some ideas put forward by local school children.
Four winning designs by Sophie Clark, Anna Duce, Cerys Jones and Maddy Woollam were selected, which feature on Wilmslow's Diamond Jubilee Gate.
On Saturday 3rd November, Cllr Jim Crockatt, Chairman of Wilmslow Town Council, and Cllr Jo Milnes, Chairman of the Town Council's Community and Order Committee, met the four winners and presented each of the girls with a certificate together with a commemorative Emma Bridgewater Diamond Jubilee mug to mark their achievements.
