Victoria Pendleton, the Olympic champion cyclist, will be in Wilmslow on Saturday, 29th September, for autographs and pictures.
The double Olympic gold medallist will be taking to the roads of Cheshire this Saturday morning, along with the Gatorade Hit Squad.
They will be setting off from the Royles cycle store on Knutsford Road at 9am and travelling through the Cheshire countryside for two hours.
Afterwards the Olympic champion will return to the cycle store where she will be available for autographs and photographs with fans between 12noon and 1.30pm.
Andrew Royle, Owner of Royles, said "We're extremely excited to be welcoming a 2012 Olympic champion to our cycling store this weekend, particularly as we're able to offer the opportunity for one of our valued customers to ride with her through the Cheshire lanes.
"This also provides an opportunity for the local community to meet Victoria, soon after her success at London 2012. Cycling is just one element of our business and we are continuing to work with brands and suppliers to bring more exciting events and opportunities to the area. Hopefully this will help to encourage the next generation of world champions and allow us to play our part in delivering the legacy the London 2012 games."
Amateur riders are being offered the chance to ride alongside Victoria throughout the morning. To enter the competition, visit the Royles website before midday tomorrow, the winner will be chosen by lucky dip and announced at 4pm on Friday, 28th September.

It may be more sensible to rename the Wilmslow bypass, A34 Pendleton Way, or even rename the two sections Pendleton Way &
I would like to see South Drive renamed Romany Walk, esp if his Vardo is not returned to Wilmslow, in recognition of his Wilmslow connection and Memorial Garden heritage.
There is only one postal address affected, that of Wilmslow Library, which may be re-located.
