The Town Council has produced a Town Map to help visitors to find their way around Wilmslow.

The first of these town maps was positioned outside the Wilmslow Station last week to welcome visitors and to direct them to the commercial centre, community facilities and to the various visitor attractions in Wilmslow and its immediate surroundings.

The map, fully funded by Wilmslow Town Council, is incorporated into a new noticeboard which has been funded by Cheshire East Council through its Local Area Partnership.

It is hoped that the map will be reproduced elsewhere in the town and be used in other publications.

We we were pleased to see that wilmslow.co.uk was listed under the websites section on the map but it's a shame there is no mention of our iPhone app as it provides an up to date listing of local businesses, with maps showing people where the businesses are located, and a calendar of forthcoming events - a very useful resource for visitors to Wilmslow which is provided free of charge and at no expense to local tax payers.
