Wilmslow Town Council is seeking Wilmslow residents who were born on either 6th February 1952 or 2nd June 1953 to help celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at The Carrs on Monday 4th June.

Matthew Jackson, Clerk of Wilmslow Town Council, said "As part of this community-wide event it would be lovely to particularly involve people born on either of those dates on which the Queen ascended to the Throne and the date of the Queen's Coronation respectively. If you were born on either of these dates please contact Wilmslow Town Council. We would love to get you involved in our celebration.

"Everyone in Wilmslow is invited to the Picnic which will feature performances by community groups on a covered stage as its centrepiece, including performances by local choir, dance and theatrical groups along with orchestral ensembles. Many other community-led stalls and attractions will also take place throughout the afternoon making this a fantastic free event for the whole family."

If you are interested in taking part in this event please contact Wilmslow Town Council on 01625 402907.
