Having recently joined The RHS Campaign for School Gardening, Lindow Community Primary School kickstarted their spring growing season this week.

Reception and pre-school children had a wonderful time planting vegetables and flowers on Wednesday, 21st March, with the help of parents Claire Dale, Nikki Moyle and Emma Bolton.

Claire Dale from the PTA said " This is part of the garden team's commitment to improve the schools garden areas and get as many children as possible to grow fruit and vegetables in school.

"The garden team is a mix of parents and teachers and we are very grateful for all the help and donations we have received from the community."
