Some Wilmslow residents, whose have their recycling collected on Mondays have been left with their excess waste by mistake.
Following two consecutive Bank Holiday Mondays, Cheshire East Council (CEC) were supposed to collect any extra recycling, which would not fit into the silver bin, today.
However, not all the collection teams were briefed so a lot of the extra waste has unfortunately been left behind.
Cllr Jo Milnes, of Wilmslow Town Council, has spoken with CEC who have confirmed that the extra rubbish should have been taken and they have agreed to collect it tomorrow if residents put it out again.
