Due to popular demand Santa's Grotto in the Romany Caravan will be opening for the next two weekends.

Window dressers from Hoopers have transformed the caravan in to a delightful grotto which has proved extremely popular with the little ones during the recent Wilmslow Christmas Festival - so much so the organisers have arranged for it to be open on Saturday 10th, Sunday 11th and Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of December.

Co-organiser Denise Valente said "Santa's Grotto has been the most magical and fantastic aspect of the entire Wilmslow Christmas Festival. Over 300 children have visited and been enchanted over the last two weekends.

"Each child was met outside the Romany Caravan by Santa's elf helper and Rudolph, then invited inside to sit and speak with Father Christmas about what they have put on their Christmas list and what they are hoping to get for Christmas.

"Every boy and girl is given a very special present from Father Christmas which he has had sent from Lapland."

The price for this special experience is £5 per child which includes the gift. All monies raised will go to cover the costs of the Wilmslow Christmas Festival which is a non-profit making event.

Santa's Grotto will be open in Romany's Caravan, adjacent to Wilmslow library from 12noon to 5pm on each Saturday and Sunday.
