Following on from the success of last year's Christmas Market, the business studies team at Wilmslow High School are currently in the process of planning this year's event which will take place on Saturday 11th December.

The event is being managed and co-ordinated by year 13 students who are all hoping to study either Events Management or Business Management at university.

They are excited to be gaining a vital hands on experience preparing for the festive event, and the world of work, under the watchful eye of their teachers.

Sophie Reacroft, Head of Operations, said "The Christmas Market will be a great opportunity to bring the local community and local independent traders together at this festive time of the year, we are having great fun organising the event and hope that it is a great and well deserved success."

Over 20 high quality traders will be at the Christmas Market, offering everything from Christmas puddings and pates to hand made paper and cards. There will also be a Santa's Grotto for the children, a barbeque and refreshments. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day, including a performance from the Rock Choir at 11.30 am.

The Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 11th December from 10.30 am until 3pm at Wilmslow High School. All funds raised on the day will be donated to charity.
