This October half-term, Wilmslow Rugby Club will be hosting another Sale Sharks Rugby Camp following the success of last year's popular camp.

This year, the camp has been boosted by the news that the entire Sale Sharks squad are coming to train at the club and meet the participants on the camp – which will give everyone a real chance to watch the Sharks up-close and personal.

Jonny Acheson, Sale Sharks Community Manager said "Sale Sharks Rugby Camps are designed by some of the best youth coaches in the North West, to give children the best opportunity to improve their skills and, as this is a holiday camp, emphasis is also placed on enjoyment so that all the children can relax at the camp with fun challenges throughout the 3 days.

"Sale Sharks are also committed to bringing their players out round the local clubs so everyone has the opportunity to learn from the professionals whilst also meeting them in an informal environment."

The camp, which is on Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th October, is structured so that it is suitable for both beginners and advanced players, focusing on the basic skills and progressing through to the more specialist aspects of the game.

Head coach Richard Spencer and his team have evaluated all the courses from the summer to improve the coaching schedule even more and ensure all participants have every opportunity to improve themselves as players while also taking part in fun challenges throughout the week.

All the coaches are RFU qualified, have enhanced police checks and there will be first aiders present at all times. All attendees will receive a Sale Sharks tee-shirt and a ticket to see Sale Sharks v Northampton Saints on Friday 19th November.

Each day will begin at 9.30am and finish at 3.30pm. Attendees aged 8 to 15, as of 31st August this year, are eligible for the camp and will need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
