A brand new shoe store, called The Foot Company, is opening in the centre of Wilmslow on Water Lane this Friday, 13th August.
The Foot Company is a foot wellbeing store, offering luxury chiropody treatments as well as a huge range of shoes from big brands such as MBT and Hotter. Wilmslow will be the second The Foot Company store to open in 5 months, with the first being in Lytham, Lancashire.
Speaking about the concept behind The Foot Company, Andrew Mayo, Managing Director and Head Podiatrist, said "I wanted to bring the idea of 'having your feet done' onto the high street and make it a more comfortable and acceptable experience - like having your hair done or a facial. The 30 minute treatment we provide has a footbath and a foot massage included, so it's more than having your nails cut and hard skin removed - it's a relaxing experience which has a lot of health benefits too.
"A lot of people don't look after their feet and obviously this can then lead onto problems with posture and joint pain. Having an instore chiropody clinic on the high street means that people can just drop in and ask us about their foot issues.
"In addition to the chiropody services instore, I wanted to also provide our customers with footwear brands which were comfy, practical and most of all, good for your feet. This is why we stock Hotter shoes and MBT physiological footwear - both brands compliment chiropody perfectly. We are now the No.1 independent stockist of both MBT and Hotter shoes in the North West, which is a great achievement."
The Foot Company will also be offering home visits to customers who aren't physically able to visit the store, or don't have the transport facilities to travel.
