Alderley Edge School for Girls (AESG) is delighted to announce its outstanding success in its recent November 2024 ISI inspection. The Independent Schools Inspectorate has recognised the school's high standards across all areas of the school including Leadership & Management, Education, Wellbeing, and Safeguarding. Under the new nongraded framework, AESG is thrilled to have 'met' all of the statutory requirements.
While the term 'met' may sound modest, it represents a significant and commendable achievement for the AESG school community. This result follows a rigorous and thorough inspection process by five ISI inspectors, in which they observed lessons, interviewed teachers and pupils, reviewed all policies and procedures, as well as listened to feedback from parents, pupils, and staff. The inspectors also evaluated how well the school's aims align with the day-to-day experiences of its pupils and the daily functioning of the school.
Headmistress, Mrs Wood, said: "We are absolutely thrilled with the results of the ISI inspection, which reflect the continued dedication and hard work of our entire school community. Our recent inspection success offers reassurance to parents that by choosing Alderley Edge School for Girls to educate their daughters, they are making an outstanding choice for their child's future."
The inspectors praised many aspects of Alderley Edge School for Girls, with key highlights including:
