Wilmslow trampolinists bounce to success again

Twenty- four students, including six teams and individuals, from Wilmslow High School made the long trip down to Eastleigh on Saturday, 14th March, to compete in the National Schools Finals.

They came away having achievement some fantastic results with all three individual competitors placed on the podium and 20 out of the 24 Wilmslow High students in the team event were also placed on the podium, with 4 teams winning and being crowned national school trampoline champions 2020.

Adam Pickup, Head of PE, said "Huge congratulations to all of the students who, once again, trained so hard for this competition. I must also say a huge thank you to Hilary Pemberton, her team of coaches and to all those who helped judge, marshall and support on the day."

1st place team U19 Novice - Theo Hill, Adam Shanoun, Jack Mitchell
1st place team U13 Novice - Jonathan Bradley, Callum Dickinson, Henry Ainsworth, Archie Timperley
1st place team U15 Novice - Toby Morris, Sam Thomas, Harry Kershaw, Harry Thompson
3rd place team – U19 intermediate Molly Andrew, Shauna Greaves, Amy Worsley, Mia Greenwood
4th place team U19 Intermediate - Harry Best, Aidan Smith, Ethan Hughes, Dominic Rowe
