A tip to whoever took this decision - have a word with the bod in the next desk.
These roadworks are being done when the roads are at their quietest during the summer holidays, but given the length of them, they are having to be done close together to fit them in before the schools go back.
We're no experts in traffic management of course but we think commuters sat in the resulting traffic jams from the joint closures of Dean Row and Adlington will probably share Jon Newell's frustration ?
Wilmslow residents can't also help wonder something else - probably more serious longer term.
What will the impact be in the same circumstances once traffic from CE approved estates at Anwhyl-Sagars Rd, Handforth 'Garden' Village, Heathfield 'Farm', Handforth-Dean Sanctuary & Bollin Park (have we perhaps missed any ?) all hit the road network ?
It may be school holidays but some people do actually have to go to work in school holidays!!!!!!!
