Slides of family life sought

Lindow Photographic Group is looking for pictures of family life in Wilmslow taken on slide film from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The images will be digitally copied and printed for a display in the library to coincide with Local History Month in May.

People who have given their slides for copying will be given the slide back and the print once the exhibition is over.

Photographs depicting everything from fashions of the time, birthday parties, weddings and anything evocative of those decades in this town are all sought.

Lindow Photographic Group currently have an exhibition at the library for anyone to come in and look at titled ‘Red and Black’. It can be viewed until Friday 5 March.
