A planning application has been submitted to change the use of a town centre retail unit to enable a new dental practice to open.
Permission is being sought to convert the ground floor of the 56, Alderley Road, which was is currently part of a kitchen showroom, into a dentists.
If this goes ahead the kitchen showroom will remain in the other half of the unit.
The new business will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and employ four full-time members of staff.
The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 17/5660M. The last date for submitting comments is 7th December and a decision is expected by 5th January.
