Charity choir concert is a sell-out

The recently formed Wilmslow Support Group held a sell-out event on Saturday, 15th July, raising over £2,300 for East Cheshire Hospice.

The Macclesfield Male Voice Choir performed a concert at Wilmslow United Reformed Church which was attended by over 200 people.

Musical Director David Court conducted proceedings with accompaniment from pianist Tatyana Goncharuk.

Keith Jones, Wilmslow Support Group, said "After a lot of hard work the evening went without barely a hitch! I am pleased we sold just about all the tickets available.This means we have raised over £2,300 for East Cheshire Hospice.

He added "I think everyone enjoyed themselves - hopefully we can do it all again next year!"
