A new menswear shop has opened in Wilmslow town centre focussing on men's essentials and offering a range of staple pieces.
The Simon + Simon store on Grove Street, located in the premises previously occupied by Benetton, is the second shop for the Macclesfield based company which trades mainly online.
Owner Simon Peters explained "We're bringing a different approach which is less trend led. We don't really believe in seasons as such. We're providing a simple way for guys to buy clothing and have a core range that we sell throughout the year."
Simon + Simon also offers a new way for men to shop with their 'Wardrobe Pack' of hand selected clothes. They take the customer's sizes and basic information about the things they like and their lifestyle and then send a pack of clothing for them to try on at home. The customer has seven days to try them and then only pays for the items they choose to keep.
Simon said "A lot of guys don't have the time to shop and a lot of men don't like shopping or get frustrated. We put together a box of outfits and have found the service to be amazingly successful. Personal shopping is our big thing and we have had a really good reaction."
He added "We help guys spend less on clothes but get more out of the clothing, The pieces we sell are relevant all year and the styles last."
