One car was involved in a road traffic collision with a lamp post on the A34 southbound this morning. (Wednesday, 2nd March).
The accident occurred just before 8.30am between Handforth and Wilmslow.
Three people were in the car and one male casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Firefighters were called and made the vehicle and scene safe as there were exposed cables from the lamp post.
