Fire crews were called to a property on Prescott Road in Wilmslow this evening (Thursday 21st January) where there was a report of a kitchen fire.
One fire engine from Wilmslow Fire Station and one from Cheadle Fire Station arrived just after 8pm and found a fire in the kitchen of a terraced property.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A large fan was also used to clear the smoke from the property and a thermal image camera was used to see if the fire has spread.
Fire crews were at the scene for approximately one hour.
