A local artist has cycled 400k across Tanzania over five days travelling from Moshi to the Ngorongoro crater to raise money for women's breast, ovarian and cervical cancer.
Wilmslow resident Lindsay Hill completed the challenge with her life long friend Alison Ralph and so far she has raised £3800.
Lindsay said "It was so hard but I'm glad I did it. It was definitely the hardest thing I have ever done."
She added "We visited two schools which was amazing but hard as most children have to walk 5k there and back to school, have no clean water and as you can see broken glass in the windows. A far cry from our facilities!"
