A cat has been rescued by firefighters after spending two days stuck up a tree.
Ossie had climbed 10 metres up the tree on Queens Road in Wilmslow where he was trapped for 48 hours before an RSPCA officer called the fire service to rescue him.
One crew from Wilmslow attended at 1.50pm on Wednesday, 28th October, and used a 13.5 metre ladder to climb up, coax Ossie over to them and then bring him back to the ground to his grateful owner.
