A 35-year-old male from Wilmslow was arrested following a burglary at Hoopers, which occurred overnight on Saturday, 20th December.
Perfume and beauty products stolen in the burglary, valued at almost £1000, were recovered at the man's home address. He has since been charged and remanded to appear before Macclesfield Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 23rd December.
PC Wadsworth the investigating officer said "This matter was dealt with extremely quickly after the burglary was discovered and we are pleased to have been able to make a quick arrest and secure sufficient evidence to charge this individual and remand him in custody "
