A Wilmslow primary school has submitted plans for a new entrance and a new car park.

Lacey Green Primary Academy on Barlow Road is proposing to build a new school entrance and a car park to accommodate 18 vehicles, including two disabled spaces.

Building work is currently underway at the school to build four new classrooms. The extension will enable the Academy to provide entry for two classes each year and an extra 120 places.

The single storey extension, which is scheduled for completion in August, will accommodate four new classrooms, new staff office, store and cloakroom areas. The scheme includes a new external sports store, a new shared reception covered play area at the front of the school and an increased external infant play area.

The latest plans for the entrance and car park can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 14/2797M .

The deadline for submitting comments is 23rd July and a decision is expected by 13th August.
