Police are warning residents to be vigilant after a spree of vehicle thefts, break-ins and incidents of number plates being stolen.
According to Wilmslow Police, there has recently been an increase in vehicle crime, particularly in the Handforth area.
Between 1st May and 11th June in the Handforth area alone there has been a house burglary in which a vehicle was stolen, three thefts of number plates and five other thefts from vehicles.
Residents are urged to make sure they leave their property secure and report anything suspicious to police on 101.
