Vandals have struck on Hollin Lane again, throwing green paint all over the pavement and a garden wall.
Wesley Hutton, Streetscape Team Leader at Cheshire East Council said "Joy riders drive down Hollin Lane late at night and throw tins of paint out of their window when driving at high speed."
Six months ago, two five litre tins of paint were thrown out of a car, fortunately it was emulsion so it came off quite well with a jet wash.
However, this time the vandals have thrown tins of masonry paint onto brick, so the Streetscape team needed more than a powerful jet washer to remove it.
On Thursday, 3rd March, Wesley and two colleagues used chemicals to help loosen the paint and were eventually able to remove the mess from Hollin Lane.
