Two fire engines attended a call at Waterstones on Friday morning where a smell of burning had been identified in an over door heater.
The crew attended the Grove Street store at 9am where they checked the heater with a thermal imaging camera and then used the thermal imaging camera across 300 square metres of the store to ensure there was no further overheating.
The heater was isolated and cooled down.
