Remember those lovely autumn days where neighbours got together with simply their community spirit and a bit of home-made apple pie to entertain them?
Well that's exactly what a group of neighbours did this weekend.
The sun shone, the children played and the adults gathered with secateurs and sturdy gloves to prune back the overgrown wild blackberries with the thoughts of a free fruity harvest next summer.
Not only did it remind us of the incredible edible all around us, it strengthened our community spirit and gave us the impetus to do actively something about our environment.
