Photographer Simon Matthews is hosting his first exhibition, entitled IMAGinE, at Wilmslow library until 20th November.

Approximately 42 images are on show, with a wide choice of traditional or more unusual mounts and frames. All of which are available to purchase, or just to enjoy.

Simon said "I have been into photography for about 45 years and had some success in competitions, and material being published in many and varied magazines and books such as those by the AA, travel books and The Guinness Book of Records.

"My work, and the exhibition is wide and varied, going from still life through to landscapes, but my real loves are architectural images, transport (especially aviation), city scapes and low light photography.

Simon, 58, lived in Cheshire for more than 35 years but is now just over the border in North Wales where he lives with my partner Winie. I worked for AstraZeneca until March '09 when I was made redundant, so I am now trying to set up as a Professional photographer.

Further information regarding Simon's work can be found on his website

Please note the Wilmslow library is closed Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 1pm.
