A section of the A34 bypass was closed in both directions for approximately four hours this afternoon following an accident involving a a van and a motorbike.
The road was closed between the roundabout with Dean Row Road and Handforth Dean.
Emergency services were called to the incident just before 2pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said "Crews assisted paramedics with a casualty who was then taken to hospital."
