Plans for office extension and multi-storey car park approved

Planning permission has been granted for an office extension along with the creation of a multi-deck car park in Wilmslow town centre.

The plan is to develop new offices with parking adjacent to Aus-Bore House on Manchester Road.

The site is currently used as an open, level car park providing 16 spaces for Aus-Bore House. The existing car park will be removed and replaced with a 3 to 4 storey office building fronting Manchester Road which will be connected to an existing listed building which is located to the south.

To the rear, a new 3 storey car park will be erected to serve the offices, containing 35 car parking spaces and 4 cycle spaces.

A second application for an extension to existing listed building at 19 to 25 Manchester Road (Aus-Bore House) has also been approved. The scheme includes internal alterations and connections with the new proposed building on the adjacent car park.
