New restaurant promises to drop 'some serious flavour bombs'

A restaurant owner is preparing to open his second business in Wilmslow town centre.

Alexander Dino, who opened 900 Degrees at Parsonage Green in December 2015, will shortly be launching another restaurant just a few doors away.

Zatar will be located at 40 Parsonage Green in the premises which was previously occupied by the children's creche Kiddycreche, but has been vacant for several years.

Speaking about the concept Alexander Dino said "Zatar means the fifth taste, "deliciousness'. Beyond sweet, sour, salty and bitter there is a particular herb we can perceive with our tongue called Zatar. A herb coined in Mediterranean cuisines.

"Zatar is a powerful force behind many of our food cravings. We are Zatar and we're all about amplifying your taste buds by dropping some serious flavour bombs into our food using an OX charcoal grill and clay tandoor."

The proposed opening hours of the new restaurant are 11.30am to 11pm and it is expected to provide jobs for six full-time and four part-time members of staff.
