The Dogfather: For busy dog owners our June masterclass may be the answer

2006_0416CHIP0003

If, like many other owners, you struggle to find time in your weekly schedule to train your dog I may have the answer.

On Saturday and Sunday June 11/12 I shall be running a Masterclass where we will have two full days working with you and your dog. If you have problems with pulling on the lead, jumping up, lunging at other dogs or refusing to come when called (recall) this is an excellent chance to resolve them.

I will also be dealing with nervousness, over-excitement, and any other relevant behaviour issues.

This is our third year of running masterclasses and with three training assistants and a group of only 12-16 dogs it gives us plenty of time for one-on-one instruction.

It's not all serious, we do have some fun games and we always take the dogs swimming which is often the most hilarious part of the weekend. I'm usually wetter than the dogs AND have yet to find a dog that could not swim. Last year we had a bulldog that swam like dolphin. (We use long safety lines and shallow water so no one gets washed away.)

Our HQ will be Morley Green Club in Wilmslow from where we will head out to various locations. Each day will commence with a review of basic training, control and help with behaviour issues.

This will NOT be a theory driven workshop where you'll need to take lots of notes (those will be provided). This will be a real hands-on experience where we will show you how to deal with the situations you meet every day on a typical walk in the park.

So, if you are struggling with your dog and cannot commit to a training class this Master Class is an excellent option. Whatever you decide do not wait until some awful incident compels you to act or it may be too late.
