With Easter approaching actors from the Green Room, Wilmslow Guild and three Wilmslow churches came together to re-enact twelve plays telling stories of Jesus' life.
The Mystery Plays, which are around 700 years old, were performed at St. Bartholomew's Church, where parts of the building are at least as old as the plays.
Alastair King said "It provided a very appropriate background to a memorable occasion.
"The cast was all-age and it was great to see young children sharing the stage with grandparents. The crucifixion scene was particularly well done – the main figure a lad of 17. For an amateur production this was remarkable and very moving."
