The Go Wild team hosted a huge party on Saturday, 21st June, to celebrate brave Lauren Wild having completed her treatment for Lymphoma.
The Go Wild Event was a sell out with over 200 people in attendance at Wilmslow Rugby Club where guests were entertained all evening with performances from the Disney Frozen Princesses and a fantastic set from local band The Lost 37 - whose members Bryn Howells, Jordi Garner, Adam Shaw and Lewis Kennedy all attend Wilmslow High School and performed at the Headlander Festival on Sunday.
Raffle and auction prizes were donated by local businesses with ticket sales and auction bids raising even more cash towards Lauren's target.
Lauren, who turns 14 next week, wanted to raise money for the two charities who have supported her throughout her treatment - Teenage Cancer Trust and Manchester Childrens Hospital. Through a series of events including the Go Wild Party, and with support from family and friends Lauren has now raised in excess of £22,500.
There are still some proceeds from the event to be added to this total and along with a few more local events that are kindly being hosted by local business people Lauren is hoping to raise £25,000.00 for her chosen charities.
