Hawthorn Lane will be closed on for one day, from its junction with Kennerleys Lane to its junction with Gorsey Road, to enable a manhole cover and frame to be replaced.
It is anticipated that the work will be carried out on Wednesday 14th May, between 9.30am and 3pm.
The actual location of works is opposite property number 45 on Hawthorn Lane.
The alternative diversion route will be via Broadwalk, Alton Road, Gorsey Road, A538 Altrincham Road and Kennerleys Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.
