Councillors in the Lacey Green Ward have arranged for an informative talk on 'Universal credits and other welfare issues' to be held next week.
The event will be held at the Lacey Green Pavilion on Clough Avenue on Monday, 24th March, starting at 7pm.
Councillors have arranged for Mr Michael Grell, Area Welfare Officer with the Royal Air Forces Association, to speak at the event.
Cllr Ellie Brooks said "Michael is a well respected speaker on this subject and has kindly agreed to give us his time and expert knowledge.
"We know many have struggled with the new welfare system, and would like to be properly informed should the 'safety net' need arise in your household.
"We hope as many of you as possible will attend, and of course all Wilmslow residents will be welcome."
