Firefighters were called to a rubbish fire behind a bank in Grove Street yesterday afternoon.
One fire engine from Wilmslow and one from Macclesfield were called to deal with the fire behind the Yorkshire Bank just after 3pm on Thursday, 18th April.
A small amount of refuse was on fire at the rear of the bank which required firefighters to investigate and use one hand appliance to extinguish. The building was evacuated as a precaution.
