Bags of shopping have been stolen whilst the driver was unloading her boot in Handforth.
The lady had left the boot open whilst carrying her shopping from the car, parked on her driveway on Grangeway, into her house.
When she returned to the car the driver discovered some carrier bags containing supermarket shopping had been stolen.
Police are warning residents to be vigilant and call 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously.
