A woman has been left shaken after having her handbag snatched as she walked from Wilmslow Station.
A 57-year-old woman was walking from the railway station along Manchester Road at 7.50pm on Wednesday, 6th February, when a man on a bike rode up behind her and snatched her bag from her shoulder.
The offender who was wearing a hooded top then rode off in the direction of Mill Street.
PC Michael Holloway said: "Thankfully she wasn′t injured by her ordeal but she was left distressed and shocked.
"If you saw the incident taking place or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area before the incident took place, I would urge you to contact police to help us with our investigation."
