Fire fighters were called to a fire at Ladybrook Grove on Christmas Day.
Three fire crews from Wilmslow, Poynton and Cheadle attended the incident at just after 5 o'clock in the morning, following reports of a cooker on fire.
On arrival, fire crews advised there had been a fire but it was out and there was some slight smoke logging to the property. Fire crews used a large fan to clear the smoke from the property.
