Firefighters were called to Woodford Road last night, where there was a fire involving an outbuilding.
Fire crews from Poynton and Macclesfield attended the incident just before 8pm on Thursday, 29th November.
The blaze involved one brick built outhouse measuring 5m x 5m which was well alight.
A gas cylinder was removed and cooled as firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out the fire. A high pressure fan was then used to clear the smoke and a thermal imaging camera used to check for further hotspots of fire.
The crews then damped down the area, turning over debris to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
