A 21-year-old man from Wilmslow has been charged with robbery following an incident at the weekend.
Police were called to Lindow Parade just after 6am on Saturday morning following reports of a robbery.
A quantity of cash had been stolen from a 31-year-old woman who had suffered injuries to her face.
Following an investigation by detectives, Bobby Nolan, 21, from Wilmslow was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He was later charged with the offence and made his first court appearance at Macclesfield Magistrates on Monday, 19th November.
