Excitement is building at a Handforth pre-school as they plan to celebrate their 50th birthday this summer.
Rainbow Pre School, situated in the Handforth Youth Centre, has been providing childcare since 1962 and as part of their celebrations they are hosting a summer fair on Sunday, May 20th.
Activities on the day will include a bouncy castle, tombola, jewellery stall, crafts, face painting, cake stall, BBQ, a rainbow stall selling commemorative items for the 50th birthday and a raffle. Whilst music will be provided by Wythenshawe FM.
The Mayor of Cheshire East will be attending to release the balloons for the balloon race and cut the birthday cake which will be distributed to everyone at the end of the fair.
Jasmine Mancini, manager of Rainbow preschool, said "We'd love to see as many people there as possible to join in our celebration."
The summer fair at Rainbow Pre School starts at 11am on Sunday May 20th.
Entrance costs 50p for adults and accompanied children are free.
