Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault of a woman in Wilmslow.
At around 9.45pm on Friday, 9th March, a woman answered a knock at the door of her home in Holly Bank Road.
When she opened the door she was punched in the face and threatened. The incident left her shaken and resulted in her having a black eye.
The offender is described as white, around 45 to 50 years old with greasy long dark hair to her shoulders and pock marked skin, particularly on her cheeks. She was wearing a dark grey top.
