Wilmslow based Cheshire Fitness are putting out a call for support for their Big Boot Camp event on 31st March which will raise vital funds for local terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children.

Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn, who played Mandy Richardson in the soap for 10 years, will be amongst the participants in this unique event.

The Big Boot Camp is the brainchild of Greg Johnson and Glenn Williams, founders and Directors of Cheshire Fitness.

Greg explained "We first came across The Children's Adventure Farm Trust on Twitter in 2011 and were blown away by the charity, they work so hard to change the lives of so many children each year. After visiting the Adventure Farm and meeting some of the staff we decided we'd do everything we could to help them with their life-changing work.

"The Big Boot Camp will be a fantastic event which will see hundreds of people, male and female, of all ages (minimum age 16) and abilities coming together to raise funds for this amazing charity. On Saturday 31st March we will be gathering at Wilmslow High School for an hour and a half of Boot Camp fitness and fun. All we ask for in return for our expertise and energy is £10 per person – and a willingness to work hard!

"We need as many people to attend as possible as we want to raise as much money as possible for these kids who deserve our hard work, it's the very least we can do really."

Helen Crowther, fundraiser at the Adventure Farm said: "We are over the moon that Cheshire Fitness have decided they would like to support our charity, it means so much to us when local companies come forward to help these very special children. The work Greg, Glenn and their team are putting into this event is impressive and humbling, it should be a fantastic day."

The Big Boot Camp will be held at Wilmslow High School on Saturday 31st March, starting at 11.30am and lasting an hour and a half. Tickets can be purchased from Barclays Bank from Friday, 16th March.

For more information, contact Greg on 07971 824 790 or Glenn on 07886 432 658. All participants need to wear a red top to show their supporting Cheshire Fitness and the adventure farm trust, refreshments will be on sale.
