Cheshire A Cappella are holding an open night offering women with any voice range the opportunity to increase their fitness levels and general well-being through regular singing.

The harmony group says singing helps improve poor posture, increases overall stamina and oxygen levels in the blood, benefits the nervous system and releases feel-good endorphins which reduce stress levels.

Cheshire A Cappella is a modern harmony chorus for women of all ages and backgrounds who love to sing. The chorus currently boasts a membership of 35 lively singers and they are hoping to attract 50 new members. who sing a variety of 4-part unaccompanied songs including pop, show songs, well-known ballads and up tunes.

Hilary Pinnock said "For anyone looking for more than the usual New Year challenge to put some sparkle in their lives, I can't recommend highly enough this kind of performance singing! I've made so many new friends and have acquired a truly amazing talent. Such great fun and hugely rewarding."

The free Open Night is being held on Wednesday January 18th at 7.30pm at the Morley Green Club.
