Pensioners from Colshaw Farm enjoyed a Christmas party hosted by their landlord Riverside.
Around 30 tenants and residents gathered at Oakenclough Children's Centre to enjoy a festive buffet, before Rochdale singer Rod Barry took them on a trip down memory lane with classics from Dean Martin to 60s Motown.
Colshaw Farm tenant, 98 year-old George Harrison (pictured) joined pals from the estate for a Christmas cracker of a party.
Sharon Thomas, Riverside's community initiatives officer, said: "Almost four million older people live alone. The majority are women over 65 years old. Feelings of isolation can amplify at Christmas, which is typically a time of togetherness and celebration. Our annual Christmas party is a chance to encourage our older residents to get together and remain active in the community."
