Wilmslow Town U14's win international honours

Wilmslow Town U14’s won one of Europe’s biggest and most prestigious Junior Football Tournaments on Saturday.

In the four day long Keele International Cup they beat teams from France, Finland and Nigeria before reaching the final against Trinidad Lions.

Trinidad took a 2-0 lead before Wilmslow Town levelled the scores in the second half with goals from Dey and Hooper. With six minutes to go Trinidad made it 3-2 and with just one minute left on the clock Wilmslow levelled again through man of the match Brad Jackson to make it 3-3.

Town went on to win on penalties to claim the cup.
